LEAST favorite crochet stitch?

Recommended Posts

I'm sure everyone has that one stitch that they just don't like doing!

What's yours?!

I'm working on my first (and last) Solomon's Knot (aka Lover's Knot and a few other names.)  The work goes fast, but I'm so sick of it that it is taking me forever to finish it.  I'm using my left thumb as a loop measuring tool and it hurts after 30-40 loops.  My project is currently 72 loops around, which means 143 thumb ouchies.  Four rounds and it's done.  I can't wait!

I forgot to put mine in, I don't like doing the triple crochet!

Probably single crochet. It works up slowly and just isn't that fun to do.

Probably the hairpin lace.   For whatever reason I cannot get an even stitch with it.  Certainly helps me broaden my expletive vocabulary....harrumph!

I don't crochet complicated stitches, mostly amigurumi. I have a horrible time whenever I need to do a whole line of slip stitches. For some reason, I find it very hard to get through the last loop.

I don't dislike any stitch in particular, I do despise that 1st row working into the chain stitches. I jumped with joy when I found foundation stitches!

Hm-m-m-m-m...I think the slip stitch is probably my least favorite, followed by the sc.  My favorite is dc!
