This is my new minimal Nativity set. I made it for my aunt for her Advent calendar I'm going to prepare for Christmas.

I found these wooden peg dolls on the net and they are great to use for figures.

Baby Jesus is not so complicated to make, don't you think?  :D

I didn't use any pattern.

Apak... might I add I would seriously pay you money if you wrote out this pattern...

:D  Lea, thank you  :manyheart  But I think it's no use in writing down this pattern, because it would fit only those wood figures.

The outfit is not difficult to make.

You start with chain - 10 or 12 or more, if you want bigger one. Then make scs around. Every 2 or 3 rounds you add 2 sc in 1 st twice.

You make sleeves starting with magic ring and then make 6 sc around.

Ania it looks like you used wooden beads for hands and Baby Jesus face? It is a darling set and I really like your use of the walnut shell for a cradle and what you used for Joseph's staff.

Thank you, Brenda!

Yes, there are beads as you noticed. They just made the work easier  ;)  I didn't have to crochet hands.
