Free Shawl Pattern: Lilaberry 2.0 Crochet Shawl

Recommended Posts

Crocheted from the top down in an easy to memorize increasing repeat, this lace shawl is made in one continuous piece of yarn and only one large skein -- 2 ends to weave in! The edging is worked seamlessly onto the last row of the shawl in a beautiful design that blends very well with the berry lace shawl pattern. The berry motif is part of the pineapple family of stitch patterns and is gorgeous in a top down increasing shawl, as the new pattern motif repeats starburst out from the beginning.

A blocking pictorial (step-by-step picture tutorial) is at the end of the pattern, teaching you all you need to know about blocking this shawl to bring out all the beauty of the stitch work.

Scroll to the bottom of the free pattern page to see the crochet chart AND watch the how-to tutorial video.

What you will need:

(1) hank Be So Fine Yarn; 100% bamboo; 650 yds per 4oz hank; color
Million Dollar Red.
G/6 (4mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle, scissors
Gauge: not critical for this project, but one repeat of stitch pattern is approx. 4” wide x
4.5” tall after blocking
Finished size: 70” wide x 34” long, after blocking

You need to go to the bottom of  the free patterns page. I clicked the link to the yarn page provided here and clicked on free patterns at the bottom of the page and found so many other nice ones too  it takes awhile  to load them.
