Caron Cakes yarn

Joann's yesterday and saw a yarn similar to the cakes but a different brand. I can't remember the name or brand

 

That would be Premier Yarns Sweet Roll cakes. 

 

 

I saw these cakes at my local Walmart!!!!  CARON CAKES AT WALMART!!

 

That was probably Lionbrand Mandala cakes.  The Mandalas are DK weight and all acrylic.

I picked up two of Phoenix.  Very pretty colors.  Love their names.

They are in select Walmarts right but supposed to be in all/most mid summer.  Here is a map to see if they are near you:

Also Bernat Pop cakes in some Walmarts.  It is acrylic and worsted weight.

Premier Yarn has another one, called Candy Shop with fun names like Skittles, Twizzlers, Jolly Rancher, etc.  It is self-striping that changes from solid to marbled.

From what I understand; Cotton Cakes and Baby Cakes are on clearance or possibly gone from stores.  They are gone from the website.

Caron does have new cakes though.

Tea Cakes.  A wool/acrylic blend with heather effects.  80% Acrylic, 20% Wool.  Super bulky (6).
