Stylecraft Special DK

I haven't posted for a while.  I haven't done much crocheting since the weather got warmer.  But a family member is expecting a baby girl in December and I thought I would pick out a pattern and the yarn for a baby afghan.  I was wondering if anyone here has used Stylecraft Special DK.  I haven't been able to find many reviews on it.  It looks to have a lot of colors to choose from but I was wondering about the softness.

I've used it, I think it is plenty soft for a baby. The color range is really great!  

 

If you order from Deramore's, they have "color packs" that are pre-selected colors that go together very well

I've used Stylecraft DK on several afghans. It's wonderful yarn and perfect for baby items.

Yep!  Me too!  I love it and you can't beat the price!  I've used it several times and made a baby sack and hat for a friend out of it.  It turned out gorgeous and the yarn is pretty soft.
