HOLIDAYS WISH LIST ~ 2016

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Holidays Wish List for 2016!!

:jack  :skeleton  :tdance  :ttalk   :ctree  :wreath   :gift  :rud  :2snowman

Some of you will remember that this is how they were done before.  I've decided (with a little help) to try this way again.

I will let this run from August until the end of the year.

Lists will only be 30 members long at a time.  Once one is filled up, I will make up another "page".  Why only 30 members at a time?  Well, this will help you out when you are looking for a certain member.  2 pages is so much easier to look thru than 30 pages.

Please note.... to join the wish list, you need to have at least 30  posts and be a member of Crochetville for at least 30 days.

Please keep your wish list updated.

To update your list, just click on the "edit" button and go from there.  PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANOTHER LIST.  I WILL DELETE IT.

Remember to have fun.

You can list up to ten (10) items as usual.  Once you've made up your list, PLEASE email me at Ladysorce at yahoo dot com, or shoot me a PM here.

Include in your message...

Your C'Ville name

Your Name

Your Address

Your Ravelry ID (include this on your wish list if you have one)

Your Email Address  <---- Lot of you are forgetting this.

Let's not forget to Thank our Fairy God Mothers (FGM) for the wonderful gifts they have just sent you. Please do NOT name them here.  If you know who they are, please send them a PM AFTER you have thanked your FGM in the "Thank You" list.

Remember to look at others wish list.  Maybe you have something that they are looking for. =)

LET THE FUN BEGIN.

You do not have to have a wish list in order to grant a wish.  But you do HAVE to send me a message with your info on it and let me know who's wish you are granting and what it is you are granting (just in case someone else has already granted it).

P.S. even a postcard will make someone's day a little brighter. :yes

P.S.S. To all you wonderful FGM's, PLEASE remember to let us know what you are sending (even if it is thru email/ravelry).  We need all of your info.  This is so we can try to keep track of things.  Thank you.

Ok I. First lol.

I'm not sure I can think of more than a few things I could use but here goes.

1 I am out of redhearts super saver yarn in White and could use that. I have a couple whites but no redheart white and mostly that is called for in our square thread is the red heart white specifically.

2. I think anything you make for me would be such a treat as I seldom. Make anything for myself.

3 a note or post card is always welcome

4. Oh lost my smaller scissors I use for crochet so a small sharp pair would be great. ( I think they got knocked off into my trash can a while back.

5. I like Werthers and Stovers cashew sugar free candies.

6. THank you cards or plain note cards to send out occasionally to members on the ville

7 a new mouse toy for Maxie the cats collection lol Or a small bag of catnip would make him so happy!! He likes mail too!! Lol

Anything just surprise me. Lol

8 That's all I can think of right now. Thank you for reading my list!!

The Christmas List has always been my favorite.  I love the card exchanges and all the other special holiday stuff people do.

:2snowmanChristmas cards.  We decorate two big Christmas wreaths every year with Christmas cards.

:2snowman   Strawberry Girl 18" Doll Pattern

:2snowman Santa's Little Helper 18 Inch Doll Pattern

:2snowmanRenaissance 18 Inch Doll Dress

:2snowman Riding Boots 18" Doll Pattern

:2snowman  Buttons and snaps

I use all kinds of buttons making my doll donations.  I especially love decorative buttons that can be added to the outfits.  This year I used some adorable umbrella ones on a raincoat, a flower one to decorate a hat, and some other pretty decorative ones to make outfits look more "dressed up."  I would love any you can spare. Snaps are easier on some outfits for little hands and it's amazing how fast they disappear from my stash.

:2snowmanHandmade Seasonal Dishcloths or Pot Holders  Patriotic themed, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas

Yes, ours get lots of use.  I make some, but usually when I start to make them, someone else remarks they don't

      have any so...

:2snowmanAccessories for the Springfield/American Girl Doll /18” doll.

I’m doing a Christmas doll donation and I would love any new shoes, tights, socks, or clothes anyone would be willing to

donate to the project.  I start in December collecting stuff and donate sometime in November.  A couple of members

donate crocheted outfits for the dolls and those are always welcome, too.

:2snowmanLots to Love 5” Baby Doll Holiday Outfits.

I have a horrible time making things with thread, especially small stuff.  A wonderful FGM sent me holiday outfits to

fit the 5” Lots to Love baby dolls, finishing my Pilgrim set, along with a Christmas elf and reindeer.   I’d love anything

for St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Halloween, anything Patriotic, or Santa/Mrs. Claus. These are for me, not for the

      donation.

:2snowman If anyone has any of the following Magazines they no longer want, I would love to provide them with a new home:

       Quick and Easy Crochet issues: Jan/Feb 2007, Mar/Apr 2007, May/Jun 2007, July/Aug 2007,Sept/Oct 2008,

        Mar/Apr 2009,
