Question
susie28
I am a beginning crocheter. My grandmother started an afghan and passed before she got it finished and I would like to finish it. I thought it was the slanted or crazy shell pattern, variation 2. I made a baby blanket to practice this stitch, however, my pattern is puffy, whereas grandma's is totally flat. Her edges are more rounded and her shells are much shorter than mine. I've tried to duplicate her pattern, but haven't been able to do so. I've toyed with the idea of adding a different stitch to the top and bottom of what she has done to finish the afghan. Any and all ideas would be helpful!
