I'm sure a pattern exists, but I won't look for it to post here because it would violate the forum guidelines (it would be a licensed item, which could only be distributed by the license owner.)

You can look for a picture of the superman logo on the internet, and run it thru a graphing program like this http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/

Choose the 1:1 ratio

Pick the stitch size - if you want it smaller, if you have a graphic program (I think Paint would work) you could shrink the logo, adding more white space around it - so if the graphed piece is 48x64 grids for example, fewer grids would comprise the logo.

Note you may have to 'clean up' the edges where 1 color is next to another.
