I love my Heidi Bears Triceratops!

He has come out quite large which isn't too surprising as I used a much bigger hook than suggested in the pattern.  I'm currently on #2 in shades of blue and yellow. I talk about this and other crochet stuff in my YouTube videos (24CaratCrochet there).

 

I help out at a computer "drop-in" centre for older people and one of the ladies wanted me to take a picture to show her daughter who lives in the States and wanted to make sure the size of him was obvious in the picture.  Second picture below shows her holding him.

So very cute and a fine job indeed. I love the "frill" (collar) on it's neck. The only thing missing is a cute roar! I was a big dino geek when a child and would have been thrilled to receive a softie like this.

Wow that came out nice. That's definitely thinking outside of the box. Now that's a decoration worth having. Think of the conversations it will start.
