Watermelon coin purselon

and I made my own. I didn't even follow the pattern, but I liked the idea. Unfortunately, I don't have the sharp hook - I guess I should put it somewhere on my wish list I used just the metal hook.

That's adorable! 

 

There's a way to attach crochet to fabric without punching holes in it.  Use your yarn needle and yarn to embroider a chain on the edge of the fabric.  The top of an embroidery chain looks like the top of a crochet stitch.  I bet it would work for for the fabric around a zipper.
