Granny Chevron Blanket!

I just finished this blanket a few days ago and I have been so over the moon about it. Its the second throw blanket I've ever finished. =]

Very cool design!  I don't usually like the granny square stitch, but I've never seen it done in chevrons before.  Great job!!

The book I used as reference for this pattern was "Crochet Stitch Dictionary" by Sarah Hazell. 

 

I think even if you aren't a beginner its a great book to have especially when you are bored and want to try a new stitch. I also use YouTube and have been thinking about making my own tutorials as I do have my own blog going now.
