Softie Mouse

I needed a little plushy mouse for my 8 month old great-granddaughter. Made from Pipsqueak yarn and a H/8 hook. No pattern, from a photo I saw on Pinterest. It's about 5.5 inches long (sans tail) and the eyes and mouth are embroidered on. I strengthened the tail up because she loves dragging things around with her while crawling and walking along the sides of furniture. This little mouse is sure to get banged around.

The Hubster asked me last night if I made the mouse in white, then added the color spots after? When I said, "No," he replied, " I knew you were good at crochet but, not that good!" My reply? "Huh". Wasn't quite sure how to take that!

My Grt-Grand is walking now at 10 months, still wobbly though, so she carries her Miss Mouse by the tail in her mouth. She looks so funny with a mouse dangling from her mouth. Good thing it's washable.
