Saw these at a festival. They are well made and very nice. If you are looking for a yarn bowl please consider this crafter. There were many sizes to chose from.

He does do beautiful wood work. (direct link included) I didn't see a yarn bowl on his FB page though.

They had different sizes of yarn bowls at the festival, some with lids, some without. He is also from my home town but I never knew he did this.
