Frog towel and potholder

I just sent these little guys on their way to their new home.

 

I have made towel toppers before, but not the kid that is attached to the towel.  Once I got the idea of how it was done, I had fun with it.  The potholder was lots of fun also and made with SNC hunter green.

 

Here is where I got the pattern for the towel topper.

 

I just couldn't resist this and there are 2 more towel toppers in the pattern.

those are just too cute. do you make your potholders out of acrylic? I've never made any so wasn't sure if that's ok. I know I make my dishclothes out of acrylic. they seem to scrub better than cotton, dry faster and not get as wonky so fast.

I made the pot holder out of cotton.  I make all my potholders out of cotton.  I found that they last longer.
