A "noste" invention

Heh.  I recently made a spalted Aspen Nostepenne and struggled to keep the length at a maximum while keeping the tool easy to hold and use.  It occurred to me that hay I might just put a removable flange on the end, sort of a yarn stop, that would allow for accumulation of more yarn.  The idea is to start the yarn ball in the usual way, then as yarn starts threating to slip off the small end of the Noste, simply screw the yarn stop in place, finish the ball, unscrew the stop and slide the ball off.

Whatcha think??
