difficulty understanding meaning in pattern

Hello there,

Is there anyone here who can kindly explain what this part of my pattern means please...ie h

what do i need to actually do..

(Working into centre of stitch NOT space work 6 trs)

It's a little difficult to know from what you posted.  What's the name of the pattern?  Can you post a link to the pattern or a little more?  It's OK to post the row before, the trouble row and the row after.  Just don't post much more than that, because it would be a violation.

By just what you posted, I would guess that what went before might have had some stitches made 'the usual way' into the top of the stitch in the row or round below, and some stitches made either between stitches or over chain loops between stitches.

 

My guess is it is just telling you to make a 6 tr shell stitch 'the usual way' into the single stitch indicated.
