First Kid's Top

I've always been fearful of making clothes, because I'm not that good at accuracy.  There aren't that many kids patterns out there, so I modified a toddler dress into a top for my 5 yo granddaughter.  She starts kindergarten next month.  I think it turned out OK.  She loves it!

 

It's hard to see, but it was also my first bead work.  It took me 1.5 hours to put 90 white beads along the bottom and another 4 hours to put 40 glass beads around the neckline.  The glass beads are really tiny.
