Questions regarding becoming a crochet instructor

I was reading about becoming a crochet instructor a little bit.  Has anybody completed the program? Was it very time consuming? Thank you!

What program are you asking about? There is the CGOA Masters course, but i don't think it is geared toward teaching.

Do you mean the one required by Michaels?  Not long ago there was a long discussion about the certification required by them.  I just spent 15-20 minutes looking and can't find the thread.  It was a lengthy discussion with lots of good information.  The bottom line was that the certification meant nothing and isn't needed to be able to teach.  The consensus was that Michaels only require it, because they get a kick-back.  No other art store requires it for teaching classes.

Yes, that's the thread!  It was long ago.  I guess I was thinking it was more recent, because I read it not long ago.  LOL
