Rich Textures Tote

I decided to make at least the week one bag in the yarnspirations summer beach bag stitch-along. I used one of the cotton skeins I got in shuttlebuggy's giveaway. The only cables I've done in the past have been on really small pieces, but they were not difficult. The only thing I didn't really like was that the top of the bag narrows more that I would have preferred.

You did great Mona!! It's beautiful. I take my hat off to you! You say the cables were easy... I tried and tried to make a crocheted cable men's hat a few years ago and it was an absolute no-go. You are super talented!

Thanks everyone! I think the cables were easy here because you are doing the fpdc in the same stitches all the way through--just adding other stitches between them to make the rest of the pattern.

I never tried cables. I probably should, so I can start pulling my hair out LOL. That sure dos looks complicated.
