you're welcome    it was not too difficult, i just went to Ravelry and searched blanket patts, first with the word Aran which didn't find it, and then with the attribute cables.  Good luck locating the book, I think I have seen it at one of my local libraries but i don't know anything about public library system in Canada, hopefully you can access it that way.
