looking for overlapping shell pattern for baby blanket

The pattern I'm looking for was used in 1972...I've long lost the pattern.

However, it's made on the same lines as the crocodile stitch but is a plain shell stitch...not the crocodile stitch. I'm not sure how to modify this into the pattern I need.

would anyone have information for the kind of pattern?  

It's a lovely blanket for a baby and I'd like to make it again...I have about 23 days to find it and finish the blanket...no pressure.

Without a photo it is hard to tell which pattern you seek since there are hundreds of shell baby blankets out there, even from way back when. Just on a whim, would it by any chance be the Reversible Shell Blanket by Piper's Girls?
