Mile-A-Minute Question...

Generally speaking, do the long strips in a mile-a-minute afghans have to be sewn together, or are they crochet joined? 

 

Any references to good patterns would be appreciated!  (free, paid or book)

There are several different techniques to join strips together.

This pattern includes Join As You Go instructions.

ive done them both ways, really depends on your own personal preference i think, up above though, some good links!!
