blue jean purse

This was a fun, but tedious project.  Its made from recycled blue jeans.  I cut up 3 pairs of blue jean legs to make the yarn to crochet the purse.  I cut the waistband off a pair and sewed it to the top of purse same with pockets.  The strap is an old belt i took apart.  It had 2 D rings on one side I took them off and sewed 1 on each side.  The  flower is 3 yo-yo's  bottom layer is jean, middle is t-shirt, and top is cotton.  All held together with a button.  The keychain I found in a drawer in my bedroom I forgot about.  And the pretty blue sash is some old no boundries yarn I got at walmart years ago.  I'm not a fancy hand stitcher so my sewing isn't pretty.  But I love how it turned out.  I'm thinking of lining it now.

Turned out great! I used to pack a purse that was made out of the top of a pair of jeans, I like this one much better.
