I'm Excited!!

Went to HL today to get two little balls of thread and a few beads, and I just happened to wander past the clearance shelves....Bad mistake....or lucky find - Depending on how you look at it! I got 7 skeins of LB Cotton Ease in the prettiest bright red color for less than $2 a skein! I have never even seen Cotton Ease there before, so not sure where this came from, but glad I found it!! I also got two balls of Sugar and cream in odd colors (red and purple) for 63 cents each...Needless to say, I came home with a BIG bag of stuff!!

Isn't it great to find stuff you never thought to look for? I've now learned to check the clearance bins first in a lot of the stores, sometimes, no, actually often, I have come home with tons of stuff at a great price. And depending on the store, they sometimes sneak clearance tags on items in the regular aisles. Almost like a treasure hunt!!!!
