amount of yarn needed

So I have the pattern for this afghan in my stash.   I know I got it from a free site.

But the amount of yarn needed is missing.  I check Red Heart yarn free patterns and it's not there.

Don't have a 'name' for it otherwise it would be easy to find.

Anyone come across this at all??

That looks so familiar, i know i have seen it but i can't quite place it.....

Does your copy include the designers name? That would help in searching.

OK, seriously, this is driving me crazy!!!  I know I have seen that and I cannot find it!   

 

I guess from what you said that it uses Red Heart yarn, right?  Does it give the specific yarn name?

16 ounces of each color.  It's really not clear is it?  One Pound (812 yards of each of the 4 colors.)  It looks like light weight yarn, but I don't know of any that comes in one pound so it must be worsted weight, especially if it uses a size K needle.

Caron One Pounders are a worsted weight 4 acrylic yarn. I would put on the heavy end of the 4 scale.  I use them quite a bit when I can get them on sale.

I found it odd for the K hook suggested for the pattern since all the Caron- One Pound labels in my stash recommend a H hook. Must be a very loose stitch. It is a beautiful afghan though and is on my To-Do List.

OH thank you! greyhoundgrandma!!      that's it!!  For the life of me I can't remember where I saw the pattern.  And to be able to read it,

I might have copied and pasted to 'word' to make the font larger to read and missed the amount of yarn needed.
