Well received gifts

I wasn't sure where to put this but wanted to post how the kids loved their Heidi Bears animals. They went over very well with a 5, 11 and 12 year old.   Katie put socks on her hippo and crocheted it a leash so she could walk with her without getting her feet dirty. She wants rollerskates for it. lol Then she had to make a leash for the dinosaur and little Mason thought it needed shoes.

So cute!! I love the idea of socks/shoes for them. You could have a side business with clothes and accessories lol! Now that I have seen them in a picture with a person I'm just realizing how big they are!!

The flower critters are wonderful! I didn't realize either how large they really are. Great job. Love the happy faces generated by the gifts and adore the shoes!

Thanks everyone. I was so glad they loved them. I wasn't sure on the older ones. 
 

The pattern calls for DK yarn and an E hook. I used Red Heart Super Saver and an F hook so they would be a bit smaller if following the pattern.  I just do not have easy access to DK yarn. lol 

 

I am working on a horse and leaving out a round on the motifs so will see how big it comes out.

Those are so cute I was thinking of making y little girl a bear or a hippo but did not know how well it would turn out in weight 4 yarn and now I know it is bigger but looks great. I am glad she is taking a nap or she would be asking for one right now.
