Crochet in the Nov issue of Smithsonian magazine

There is an article about the "sky-high sculptures" of Janet Echelman. It includes a crochet portrait of the artist done by Jo Hamilton. It says she used 70 colors in the 31 x 26" portrait.

thanks for posting!  Those portraits are simply amazing aren't they?  so much detail.

 

And the sculptures in the sky are really beautiful!
