My crochet masterpiece in yarn size 100

As I have used all my size 80 yarn and before I will get some more I thought that I will try size 100 yarn.

I have chosen a doily pattern which I have recently made and posted here in size 20. The doily has 27 rows. The measurement of the new size 100 doily is 23 cm (9 inch) in diameters while the size 20 doily measures 35 cm (13,8 inch) in diameters. I have used a hook size 0,35 mm for the size 100 yarn.

Pictures 3 and 4 show both doilies for comparison purposes.

Here are my pictures:

Oh my goodness, that's wonderful.  I'm sure I would hurt myself trying to use a .35mm hook, I probably have sewing needles not as sharp as that!

Hallo Granny Square, your comment made me smile!

It is not that difficult to use yarn size 100 and a matching hook. I have to admit that it does me take longer to crochet with the fine thread than my usual size 20!

Greetings from Vienna, Veronika
