Lacy owl or...?

When I posted some tiny flakes and a bird made on holidays -HERE:  http://www.crochetville.com/community/topic/152175-august-snowflakes/ - some people said they saw an OWL. I had to contemplate  my pics again and finally I found the bird that could possibly look a bit like an owl.  Anyway, I felt inspired and decided to try REALLY make an owl by connecting two lacy birds. And here it is - my new lacy owl.

 

 

The truth is - I can't help it and as I made so many birds before, I still see the siamese birds   ....

Love it! I see an owl. If you still see the conjoined birds, if I may suggest, eliminate the "beaks" or put them on top of the eyes instead of on the sides of the eyes. Either way, both are lovely.

Ha ha, I saw an owl until I read your story, now I see the Siamese birds too.  I agree, move each 'beak' a bit more toward the center top of the head.  You are so clever at coming up with your own designs!

I still see owls.  After looking for the beaks, I saw two birds, but....Someone showed ink blots, said old folks would see hair bow, and young folks would see butterfly.  I, at age forty, saw hair bow.  Either way, it is, or they are very pretty.
