Blacklight sweater and hat set

I made the hat and sweater to go with my RR ghan.  This is a newborn set.

 

 

 

Ok, the flower may be as big as the baby but it is just so cute I had to use it.

No that is "Reflective" yarn.  this just has the colours you see in Blacklight.

I rather liked it.  It is finer and softer than the usual RH.  It took me a bit to get used to how the colouration plays out.

I generally begin my sweaters with the Baby in Bloom yoke pattern and then adapt for the body of the piece. 

Once you have the yoke you can experiment with whatever stitch you like for the bottom.
