Some of these doilies I made a long time ago and some are new.

The pattern is named "Cheval Set" and consists of a large doily (as above) and two smaller ones.

The book is named "Pineapple" Crochet Designs - by COATS SEWING GROUP - BOOK No. 456

I bought the book in England in 1973 for 15p. I don't think you can get the book any more, but may be you find the pattern: Cheval Set! I could make a scan but I don't know about the copyright situation!

I starch and pin my doilies on a board. Sometimes I pin them on the board and then use spray starch (Hoffmanns liquid starch with a little water).
