pattern prison style black and white hat

I'm trying to crochet a black and white striped jail bird style hat.  I want one that has the stripes on the top going one way and the stripes around the hat going a separate way.  If that makes sense.

I've not seen a pattern before for a prisoner cap in crochet but, you could probably use this pattern. Just make it into stripes. I typed in my web search bar "crochet pill box hat" and several patterns came up in this shape you seek.
