The Fernanda Shawl

Alaina

Recommended Posts

I've made this shawl twice now, almost finished a 3rd.

I love this pattern with the colorways of Chroma Fingering yarn.

The purple is the Misty Morn colorway, and the green is the Seaweed colorway.  I am almost done with a 3rd shawl in the Smoothie colorway (pics coming soon)

Thanks Janice!

I used an I-hook, because it needs to be more "open" and lacey.

You would not normally use an I-hook with fingering weight yarn, although I guess it really depends on the nature of the project and what kind of gauge, drape, and texture you wish to achieve.

Thanks everyone!

Milney, it depends on how large you want the shawlette.

I've not been able to try the pattern using 2 fulls skeins of the fingering yet.  But the dimensions I provided are for 1 skein.
