This is beautiful!  But what is it for, exactly?  Sorry to be so stupid!

Prayer cloths are similar to other religious items carried as reminders of faith and prayer.

It can be something to hold while you pray or place on your pillow as a reminder to pray.

It is a comfort item in times of stress - something easier to keep with you than a prayer shawl.

 

I love the idea of adding the beads. This is a beautiful piece.
