Tampa Doll Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) Everything on the news has been about who is talking smack and who is skirting the truth. I am getting tired of politics already and it is no where near the time to pick a new President. So with that in mind, I decided to get this pattern from Maggie's Crochet. They are call the Patriotic Donkey and the Patriotic Elephant. They took no time at all and as for the blanket, you can make them any color. Hey as far as I am concerned, they picked the right animals for the parties. See how cute they turned out. Here they are together: More Edited June 12, 2014 by Tampa Doll

pat54 Posted June 18, 2014 (edited) I really like them, they are adorable. For some reason I have collected elephants for years. I've always wanted to make one with crochet but haven't tackled it yet. I even have a pattern. Edited June 18, 2014 by pat54

ReniC Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) The two Ami's are adorable. You did a fine job on them. We have immediate family members working in politics, both Dem's and Rep's, and it's on TV all the time in this house- Drives me nuts! So it's nice to see something positive regarding politics!
