I have been  wanting to make this outfit for ages and here it is finally.  I'm not quite sure it is what I wanted but it is cute.

 

I even managed to make the car motif with crochet cotton.  That took about half an hour .

 She is my Fancy Nancy doll.  I've been thinking that I need to make her a 'fancy' outfit but I will need quantities of hot pink.

I admit that in real time buttons that large would be  hard to wear    but for our girls they are fine.  it's amazing how we take red-yellow-green as traffic lights.
