Hi,

I'm Katie from Crochet Katie. I've been crocheting for 16+ years. Mum taught me but she no longer crochets. I just love having something to do with my hands while watching tv, or listening to music, or listening to the birds sing. Theres something magic in creating something pretty & functional with your own two hands & a piece of string. 

 

End of last year I decided to take the plunge & begin my own business selling my bits & pieces, and I am now starting to focus on patterns. I am vegan so I don't use wool, instead mostly plant fibres (cotton, bamboo, jute, hemp, linen) or acrylic. I'm also very interested in sustainable living & try to create my own everything, rather than buying.
