12 of my smallest doilies

Recommended Posts

I love to crochet and try new patterns. Here are some of my smallest doilies which I made within one day (3 to 6 hrs). I used crochet cotton number 20 and a hook size 0,75. Since I have more than a hundred various sized doilies I would love to present them somewhere in public. I started to show some of them here in Crochetville forum because you are experts.

I would appreciate your feedback.

Your work is breathtaking!

Are you asking for suggestions as to where you might be able to display some of your work?

I've never done anything like that, and I don't know where you are or what kind of community you live in; here in my little town, if I were to desire to display work as gorgeous as yours, I would start with the library and the art gallery (yes, we have an art gallery!) and ask if they had any space available for a couple of doilies.  I would mount them on something so they could hang on a wall (as opposed to being on a table top, which might be more difficult to accommodate) or if there is a display case of some kind, perhaps in something like that.  From there, I would check with any small business...

Our bank used to have several tables with glass cut to fit on the tabletop; if there were any places like that in your area, under the glass would be a great place to display some of your work!

Thank you for sharing your work with us!

Thank you crabby rat for your advice.

I live in Meidling, which is the 12th district of Vienna. May be I pay a visit to a few art galleries in Vienna.

I guess I could frame the small ones to put them on the wall.

If you look at my other posts you can see that most of the doilies are to big to be hung up on the wall.

Thanks again and best regards from Vienna.
