I won best of show at our fair !

I entered my bear into our fair and when i went to pick him up--found I won best of show!

 

I had made 4 bears as Christmas gifts ....and a horse in a similar style...

wow-I had no idea how many of you followed my post here..Thanks for all the support! Yes the bear is big..BUT the first one I made was even bigger...I used larger hooks on it and was HUGE . So for the next 3 bears I went down on hook sizes but they still came out BIG.

I'm still reeling that I won ...now to think about next year....hmmmmmm

What a beautiful bear!  Your best-of-show ribbon is well deserved.  I can't imagine stuffing such a big bear, let alone all the other ones you made.  Wow!

Thanks again to all of you for your comments..sure means alot to me.

 

I used WW yarn....for all of them..althought the pattern calls for smaller weight yarn. I was gifted TONS of yarn about 2 years ago....and I means tons. Probably have at the very least 15 HUGE plastic bags stuffed with all kinds, colors etc...I do buy yarn but feel guilty if I do need to ....lol.
