Here is a bookmark I made for my bro today. I used the red heart pattern as a guideline. It usually has a butterfly on the tail, but seeing as it is for my bro, I did something more masculine. I made this pattern for my mom last year and it didn't turn out right. My skill has advanced a lot in a year.

I'm working on another filet type project for my bro. I'm making it with 2 colors and carrying the contrast through b/c there are a lot of changes. I'm having a problem with my carry through showing through the MC. Is there a way to stop that happening?
