A big THANKS!to Tandi and MaryEllen for your beautiful squares! Tandi, I love the colors and the beautiful patterns you chose. Thank you for your time! MaryEllen, I adore the little smiley face flowers you sewed on! They're so cheerful, I know my aunt will love them. I love your gerbera pattern!

Thanks again, ladies! You made my day.:manyheart

I hope your aunt is doing well. Do you still need squares?

I'd like to remind people (if you don't mind) that you can click here:

every day to help fund mammograms for women who need them.

Following the holiday craziness and a little unwanted drama, my Aunt's afghan is finally together and ready for washing. I'll post photos tonight, but wanted to say Thank You to everyone who helped make this possible!

As far as I know, my Aunt is doing well and responding to her chemo. :manyheart

Also, her comfortghan is finished, as you can see by these photos! I edged the center square in pink in honor of breast cancer survivors, and edged the afghan using the pattern from the 63 Squares pamphlet (my new favorite!)

I pulled out the brightest squares and assembled them into a cheerful bag for the afghan, which I still need to photograph (alright, so I haven't quite finished the edging!) A photo of it will be up ASAP!

All that's left is to retag the squares and ship! Thank you to everyone who contributed, and keep an eye on your mailboxes next week!
