Learning to make granny squares!

After almost two years of crocheting, I finally learned how to make a granny square last night! So far, I've made three 8" granny squares and a few other sizes. This one is made with acrylic yarns.

You're doing great!!  Your stitches are nice and even!

A suggestion, if you plan to make a very large granny squares, such as afghan size--turn each row as you are working them.  That keeps the stitches from leaning to one side only, and making the design go sideways, or "wonky", as I say!!
