Yes, from what i can see in your photo,  i have seen patterns like that, called crysanthemum flowers.

I guess it depends on what it's supposed to be.  A hat, the beginnings of an afghan, a flower.  What was your intention?

There is a cauliflower potholder that looks an awful lot like it LOL  I made up the whole set for a customer, and I got the patterns out of the deal in addition to being paid.  It was an Annie's Attic pattern.
