Gardener Posted February 8, 2014 Tam, thanks for all the links. (Note to self: resist temptation to start yet another new project, no matter how much you like the pattern)
MissyAnn Posted February 11, 2014 Here is 2 dishcloths that I made last night. A co-worker of my mom asked if I could make her some. These patterns are actually for doillies but I thought they would make great dishcloths so I swapped the yarn recommended for cotton.
MissyAnn Posted February 12, 2014 I have to make 2 more dishcloths. My mom's co-worker doesn't like the ones I posted above. Apparently she only likes square ones

MissyAnn Posted February 12, 2014 I think your round dishcloths are pretty and I like the idea to use doily patterns! Thank you. My mom said she will keep the round ones because she needs new ones. I don't really care for making the square/rectangle dishcloths. I think they are kind of boring. I like to work in rounds.
crabby rat Posted February 13, 2014 I thought your round ones were very cute - and maybe some people ought to try branching out once in a while and live life on the wild side by washing their dishes with a *gasp* round dishcloth!! If you like to work in rounds, just make a square in the round instead of in rows. Like a granny square, but less holey.

I may have to give that a whirl.
MissyAnn Posted February 14, 2014 Okay. I made 2 more dishcloths. Hopefully she will like these. I made them the same. I found the index card on her and made the dishcloth pattern I made for her. Since I do sell dishcloths and on occasion other items, I keep an index card with the person's name, what they wanted, yarn brand/color and what they paid.
