Dishcloths of 2014 ~ CAL........

Here is the dishcloth that I did over the weekend. I am going to start working on some more shortly.

I was thinking of buying some ILTC when I go to Hobby Lobby next. Am planning on maybe making sister washcloths for birthday. Is ILTC a good yarn for cloths? I've heard it's softer than other cottons.

Pretty green washcloth. Love the star shape

I prefer regular cotton for the dishcloths myself. Yes the ILTC is too soft to me for a cloth! It's great for clothing and such!

    ~ Good Morning all...............

Well... I'm off to my moms today to work out and then visit for a while this morning ... then home to do some chores and crochet crochet and then knit!

I need to snap a picture of the 2nd comfort'ghan I made and show you all.. it came out really nice!

I'm hoping to give the comfort'ghans to the families tomorrow night at the Memorial Fundraiser at the Home Basketball game.

Then I need to work on some chemo caps and dishcloths for my mom!  

And fill some orders I have!

 

 

Well... off to get a coffee refill ....

I'm off to my moms again today.... super windy out... so if I can drive with the wind I'll save on gas... LOL>>LOL

I had a good day with my mom yesterday... we exercised... I got her all set up on Pinterest....showed her how to turn her phone into a 'hot spot' so she can surf the net with her tablet .. Anywhere.... crocheted a bit and then home to see my beautiful boys!

Today I'm taking more crocheting over and am going to teach my mom how to make a ruffle scarf from sashay yarn.

.::Evening everyone..............

......... been a bit busy around my house lately!

I made 2 dishcloth sets for my mom for Christmas.... we celebrated late on the 12th due to us being out of town for Christmas.  She loved them!  I have quite a few more balls of cotton to make her more! 

I'm working on another set now... in between an iPad tote I'm making myself and a knitted scarf I'm making for a dear friend that ordered it!   I have to knit in stages because I have "knitters thumb"  LOL.

Gonna be a good day!! I have a load of laundry in....a fresh cup of coffee by my side and my yarn and hook ready to go!

My boys are still sleeping ...so I'll wait till they wake up to get any other chores done..so for now...I crochet!

 

I finished the dishcloth set last night...so I'll snap a pic here in a few!

The iPad tote needs embellishment....so I'll do that then snap a pic.

And the scarf I'll snap a pic in a few too!

Good Morning......

It's really windy this morning.....ooooooh don't want to go out in it today....but I'm off to my moms today to exercise and visit! I'll be taking my crochet with me! ????

I have an order for 3 slouchy hats to get done this week! One is done ... One is 1/2 done.

Then a cousin of mine asked so very nicely for a Minion hat....so I'll make that real quick too!

I need to spend some time on this knitted scarf too....a friend bought me the pattern and is paying me to make it! ????

 

Well..... Off to get things ready to go!
