Here is my latest afghan, hot off my hook.  It is a granny stripe.  The colors are:  Red Heart Super Saver in hunter green, pale plum, medium purple, honeydew, white and Bernat Super Saver in damson.  It is shown on a queen sized bed and as you can see, hangs over the edges a bit.  The border is just a single crochet around using all the colors except white.  This one is for me - my bedroom is decorated in violets.  I enjoyed making this afghan, but am happy to see it done.

edit...I don't know how many times I've tried to turn and crop this picture..well once, but it won't come across!  So here is the sideways picture and the fan in the window lol

Here are a couple I finished up and finally got the photos off my camera... the purple/teal one is for a Christmas gift for my son's ex-girlfriend and her husband.  It was supposed to be a wedding gift... they celebrated their first anniversary in June so I'm only about 18 months late (since they'll get this for Christmas this year... LOL) and the blue/red one is for their daughter's first birthday in November... that was supposed to be a gift for when she was born.  I figure she's getting it on her first birthday, not high school graduation, so I'm still doing okay... LOL

Here is another round ripple hot off my hook.  The yarn was originally meant for a corner-to-corner afghan and had been sitting in my yarn closet for at least ten years.  So I decided to repurpose the yarn for this round ripple.  And as you can see, it has been thoroughly inspected and approved by Miss Claire!

Both afghan and Miss Claire are gorgeous!
