"Emergence Shawl" from Interweave

Finished the Emergence Shawl from Interweave magazine.  I had to modify it because I used a laceweight rather than fingering weight.  Each fringe should have 3 more beads but that many beads was too heavy for the shawl.

It's called Emergence and I don't know why the designed named it so.

It was an accident.  I was trying to figure out how to photograph it and pinned it to the blinds in my office.  I can't take glare so I've got huge sheets of quilting plastic on my windows that makes the light turn muted.  I was surprised and happy how this allowed the shawl to emerge as the center of attention.
