Angel Grace

[Tampa Doll]

I found an old pattern for the air-freshner dolls that is an angel.  The pattern used PNC chenille and since we can't get it anymore, I asked for ideas of what yarn to use.

 

I finally decided to use the Mary Maxim Sparkle.  It is a red sportsweight yarn with shinny red thread around it.  The wings and decorations, are done with gold on gold Aunt Lydia's Metallic thread.

 

You can't tell in the picture, but she does sparkle in the sunlight.

I am now working on her sister who's dress will be made with Mary Maxim Sparkle in dark green.  Don't know if I am staying with the gold/gold or going to use white on white Metallic thread.
