loom knitting

Has anyone used one? I am looking into getting one to help me with hats and scarves. I have heard great things about them. Also, which brand? Boye or Knifty Knitters? Thanks.

I've used a mixture of brands.  I make mostly doll hats and scarves.  I've made a doll blanket.  I will say I liked the padded hook for saving my fingers.  The plastic handled one got to me after a while.

I use knifty knitter, and have worn one or two out, making hats, lol.

I like using these. Make three little boy hat/scraf sets. Also making leg warmers and my husband loves the hats. So ordered some of the long ones and planning on three monkey sock hats/scarfs for the boys and making dishcloths. 

Would love to find more patterns as these get more popular.
