... why Bavarian? Last week I've been to Bavaria in Germany. We travelled by coach and I chose these coasters to crocheton the way. They are super quick to make. I made 8 dark green and 4 light green.

I found a few similar versions of this pattern on the net - well these coasters are VERY easy!  and I also got a set of these as a gift. I had to work out my own version according to my yarn and a hook.

So here is my version:

 

In each round make ch 3 as 1st dc. Join each round with sl st.

 

ch 6, join

1) 20 dcs

2) dc in next 2 sts, ch 2 } repeat around

3) in each ch 2 space make 3 dc, ch 3

4) in each ch 3 space make 2dc, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 1

5) in each ch 2 space make 8 dcs, sc in ch 1 space

 

I used cotton thread size 3 and 2,5mm hook
